Graduation is a big day for students, but online schools face unique challenges in creating the expected graduation experience. CTU held a yearly graduation in Denver, CO, in which any student who graduated during the year could attend and bring their family. We wanted to ensure as many students, friends, and family could participate as possible, but travel made that impossible for many.

The Stage
I spearheaded the creation of a live-streamed experience that connected virtual and in-person attendees. The event was streamed on Facebook, providing virtual attendees a window to the event. To connect in-person to the virtual audience, a projected dashboard of social media posts with the event hashtag was the stage backdrop.
In-Person Experience
The in-person experience was also restructured to provide attendees with opportunities to create memorable moments, highlight work done by students throughout the year, and capture testimonials for future CTU promotions.
